In a world where 'cookie cutter' courses are sold as coaching, and are a dime a dozen, Dalton offers genuine, personalized advice and actually tries to work out why we make wrong moves. This is whether it be related to psychological habits, positional/strategic knowlege, dealing with gameplay in real time, or tactical ability. Others simply 'trot out' an overly simplistic formula for improvement. Dalton knows chess but he also understands people and his coaching reflects this!

Dalton is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend his services! He greatly helped me improve my middlegame planning as well as my positional understanding. He personalizes each lesson as well as the homework assignments. He's very good at what he does.
